Protein Cheesecake (really)
Hey Guys,
When trying to avoid the temptation of sweets, try out this cheesecake concoction -- great to bring to a friends place too (ours loved it!).
-------
1 cup of fat free cottage cheese
1 protein powder (I've found that vanilla works best)
1 tablespoon of jello pudding powder (fat free + sugar free) ( vanilla)
4 ice cubes
Blend all ingredients until smooth and FREEZE for an hour!
You can vary the flavors of protein powder, pudding or include fresh fruit sliced on top.
Enjoy!
Karen
(I'm all about trying new recipes lately -- don't know what's gotten into me! If I'm driving you nuts, just let me know...)

Not at all, Karen1976 - they're great!
I love easy to make recipes and yours are just that B)
Thank you!
But, one question, protein powder can be put in about every recipe one prepares, no? So that it can make it a 'protein' dish?

Yup, I use protein powder in a ton of stuff! (I'm pretty involved in the Fitness/Figure industry so I've picked up a lot of good eating/training tricks along the way...)
I'll put half a serving in if I'm making jello pudding (takes a little longer to set), I make protein pancakes, shakes, bars, muffins... with all-natural stuff. It's quite versatile and comes in so many flavors that I never get tired of it.
I just got off a strawberry kick and now am into Mocha...
Any local supplement store will carry it (FitMass, Herc's, Bodybuilding.com etc)
PS. Glad I'm not driving you nuts...

That sounds good (and very healthy).
Looking forward to more of your easy-to-make recipes (not that I'm lazy, but why difficult if it can be done easy  )
