I'm not a newbie I registered some time ago but just received an email reminding me of this forum. So that shows the power of marketing. I have to say I am so impressed by the new site, it looks really good, full marks to the --- WEBSEAMSTRESS ---.
Just to remind everyone I am a T2 diagnosed for 6 years but have a mental block when it comes to the things that I should'nt do. My doctor / nurse say it's denial not too sure about that. I think it's human nature it's hard to change your lifestyle when the consequences are not slapping you in the face.
I'm 16.5 stone I'm told I should lose weight, I like biscuits, cakes, chocolate and alchohol. If I were to have a heart attack I would probably give them all up to reduce chance of another. So why do I find it so hard to say no when the enjoyment has no pain attached to it.
Could we be talking addiction here or some miss guided belief in the power of drugs 1500mg metformin + atorvastatin + asprin.
NICE TO BE BACK
