    Hello

    Hiya I am Donna aka Cloudedbrains.
    I am a type 2 - diagnosed in august 2006.
    I started with diet and exercise, then metformin, then changed to slow-release metformin 1000mg daily as I could not tolerate 1500mg.
    I started Lantus (Insulin Glargine) of the 3rd October 06 and am now on 22units.
    I have many other health issues but the main being severe Brittle asthma type 1 - which requires alot of meds and in particular permanent steroid tablets - Betamethasone tablets.

    I am very new to all this diabetes stuff so please be gentle with me :shock:

    I'm thinking about doing a major upgrade to the site, maybe this will make people chat more :-(
