    How do YOU relax?

Ok, so the forum is kinda too dead... Easy to make an impression that no one will tell you anything if you ask. So how about we just talk about diabetes non related things in the meantime.

For example: what do you do in your free time? What helps you relax the most?

I'll start. I like reading books of course (most people do like some books). Other than that when I really want to relax I practice playing guitar. Really let's me vent my frustration etc. after a hard day. Here I even recorded a video or two and put them up on youtube:

Alright, now it's your turn. What do you like to do? What makes you feel comfortable and let's you relax?

Ohhhh WOW!! Lovely play, Vytautas Thanks for sharing that!

I love to walk. Walk, walk and walk. And... end up near the sea. The sea is my heaven..

Thank you (both for sharink and the compliment )

Yep, walking is a good pastime... Too bad that sometimes the weather here in Lithuania is not really good for that (like today ). Do you live near the sea?

Ohhh every kind of weather is good for walking (unless you have temperatures of below zero?) I live about an one hour walk from the sea.

Indeed we have below zero Today it was I think -8. In winter it's around -15 to -20 Though during some summers we get around 30-34, though that's not as common.

OMG hmy: No, so I really can imagine you'd rather not take a walk to the sea  There isn't much of an outdoors life left to be busy with in temperatures like that, is there?

Nope... My whole time outdoors is the time it takes for me to go to university and back home. Roughly about an hour Now it's getting warmer... When it was cold and there was snow, I would go out skiing in spring and summer (when it's warm and dry) we go play football (some people like to call it soccer for an unknown reason )

Yeah, the soccer bit makes me a bit angry as well because it sounds so much like 'sucker' :P

You must be really happy that winter is over now and you will be having the opportunity to spend more time outdoors.

I would go crazy having to spend 23 hours a day indoors. Wow

How's the weather now in Lithuania, Vytautas? Do you get to go outdoors some more now?

The weather is nice. It's sunny and warm (about 20 deg Celcius). Took a different route home today so I didn't just go by bus but rather walked a lot of the distance (took a route throught a forest as well)
