    Cinnamon helps control blood sugar???

I’ve read that studies have shown that cinnamon, taken in the proper dosages, along with supportive nutrients which help the cinnamon do a better job, can help people with Type 2 diabetes who are trying to control blood sugars through diet and exercise.Anybody heard about this? The main study is explained at http://www.diabetesmanager.net

    Cinnamon helps control blood sugar???

This cinnamon product contains cinnamon, Biotin, Chromium, Vanadium and 3 b vitamins with studies behind each ingredient for promoting glycemic control and cardiovascular health. Plus the price is inexpensive when you consider how much it would cost to buy all the other ingredients individually. I read that some people swear by cinnamon and how it helps, and others say it hasn't helped much. Worth looking into.

According to a study published in pubmed, cinnamon is considered one of the herbs for diabetes, it has a moderate effect on loweing fasting blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes.
It is found that cinnamon can reduce Bg levels by 10.3 % after taking 3 grams daily for 4 months.

Is this cinnamon straight out of the spice rack? Does it matter how its prepared. I know some things lose their nutritional merits after cooking. I cannot imagine taking this much cinnamon plain every day.

Boiling or cooking some things will make them loose some vitamins and minerals (as well as unwanted bacteria) due to high heat. I doubt that cinamons effect will diminish from preparation and is more reliant on quantity
