    Metronic Real Time System

    Hi all,
Its been awhile since I've been on this forum. Last week I received my new (replacement) Medtronic pump and this time the insurance (Healtnet) included the real time glucose system ! Needless to say I'm excited. It actually saved me from a 41 low last night so I know I'll be putting it to good use. Even though the system does not measure blood glucose levels it does let you know "trends" in your numbers and what I like most about it is the alarm for falling and rising glucose levels. What I don't like is another 2nd poke in my body. I like to keep my numbers between 75 and 150 and feel best at this level however as we all know it is a challenge. I see this system as another device to help me keep "in control". Anyway if any of you have advice or comments I'd be interested to hear.:cheer: Thanks.
