Vytautas, get someone over to your house NOW!
You should not be alone at home when in such a state.

Yes Vytautas! Keep that candy dish full by the computer! If we could only write a book about our wild and wierd experiences right? Like the time I was on the floor with a frozen pork chop in my hand but unable to eat it. Hope you are better now.

Sorry for not checking in. Don't worry about me. I'm pretty used to handling these things since i had quite a lot of them when i was on lantus (had to increse the base for some hypers thus it wasn't that easy to change the other doses to avoid hypoglcemias).

I aways have glucose in my pocket and i eat everything i get my hands on when i'm alone. Once i went into coma while alone at home though i took enough glucose to get out of it in the end. You see sometimes there is no time to call someone and my brother was on his way home anyway.

    Thank you for your concern

Okay, good to hear that, Vytautas Please do take care and precautions when you feel this coming up. I hope you have a cell phone with you always?

Yes I do. I know what to do when such a thing occurs rather well. I'm already used to using the pump for countering hypoglycemias. I always do the same: one hand reaches for glucose, the other stops the pump, then writes an SMS or makes the call

Good to know, Vytautas. It's a pity these instances can happen at all but since they do it is a good feeling to know you are in control of them
