Insulin Pump

Hi everyone, Just started on a mini med 722 pump 3 days and so far so good. I am having some problems with highs after I eat 220-260 but am sure we will get this worked out. My trainer told me it takes about a month to get the settings set right on the pump. I love it though in all other ways. Will keep you posted it on how it is going. Shaff

Hi Shaff, welcome to the forum. Your trainer is right, it might take some time to get 'adjusted'

Hello there,

as a recent pump user i can confirm that it takes arround a month to adjust the base. I'm on accu-check spirit for 2 months and i have adjusted them just right only ~2 weeks ago and still my nights are odd (sometimes even up to 20mmol/l)
