Deltec Cozmore Pump

:silly: I was just wondering if anybody eles out there is using a Cozmore insulin pump. I just got mine in feb. of this year. I was on a minimed pump but went with Cozmore because they seem to have good customer service. So far I love my pump

Not using a pump yet... Thinking about one... At least for a while to see if i like it or not...

Vytautas, is it possible to use a pump for a trial period? Won't it have negative (or positive) effects if decided to return to the old method?

I used the deltec cosmo since Sept 2003. I loved it. I switched to the minimed for the real time system at the begining of this year. I liked the Cosmo pump much better and their customer service is a benchmark compared to minimed. still wish deltec had a realtime type system (they are working on something)so I could go back to my old deltec....<br><br>Post edited by: divermike, at: 2007/08/16 00:38

Yes that is why I left minimed due to their customer service has gone down the drain. I have been told by my diabetes nurse that deltec should be coming out with a real time pump like minimed so I am going to stay with deltec.

Maybe customer service will pick up if so many people are dissatisfied at minimizers?

no, seriously, don't you think it's mystifying if companies don't improve on their products' performance when they receive so many complaints?

I know when I was on a minimed pump and something would go wrong I would be a good little pumper and call the repsonse that I would get would be something like this: " Um never heard of that before and nobody has ever called in about that problem."
End of conversation. Thats as far as it would go. Perhaps they think people don't communicate and find out the truth anyway
