Summer reminder
Well as we can all see it's summer now, it's hot (with a little welcome rain) and your air-conditioner is probably not working (just joking  )
A reminder to those that have diabetes for a long time and a warning for those that have had it for a short time: be careful. It's beter to be warned before an accident happens. Very hot weather (and you'll probably be more active with all the walks, jogs and other stuf you do on nice days) will drop you sugar levels.
For egzample: every year i go to camp or to Klaipeda and just have fun. During summer i eat almost everything i want (what i don't eat is mostly because i can't get my hands on one of those). If i eat less i live practicaly witouth insulin because all the excercise and heat keep a lower sugar level.
The standart symptoms of hypoglycemia may start to be decieving but check you sugar levels nevertheless. You may start feeling them at lower sugar levels as you will be living on lower levels. Always cary arround your glucose (at the very least) and if possible you could have your gliucagon (if that's how it's in english).
