Fell off the Diabetic wagon...

Argh... I don't know what happened today but I had chocolate. The real kind, not sugar free, and it was darn good at the time! But, of course, now I feel guilty and awful... and I was doing so well! *sigh*

I've started running again and am still keeping up with weights at the gym 5 days a week, still taking my insulin -- even had a nice salad for lunch. Then - BAM! I ate my nephews chocolate egg (going to have to go buy him a new one, but I'm going to wait till it's closer to Easter).

How do you guys eat so well all the time?! Tell me your secret...

Post edited by: karen1976, at: 2007/03/22 21:29

Karen, to sin once in a while isn't the end of the world, is it? :P

I don't know how other diabetes do it, since I'm not a diabete but I've got great respect for you guys. On the other hand, I'm sure a 'slip' once in a while can't be that devastating. Or am I wrong? :P

Hm... My mother doesn't know but i on the way from school i eat a chocolate (Mars) bar. I take little excercise (and i'm still slightly underweight!!!)The thing is that i don't fell a big change. I just inject 1-3 untis of insulin and since i eat ~30-40 minutes after coming home my sugar level is quite normal...
